It’s that time, that time to dig in and prepare our homes. Prepare for what you ask?
- Cooler months- It is time to begin fall cleaning and maintenance around the house. To prepare for the cold weather ahead. Air conditioning units and gutters need to be cleaned. For those of us that live in the cooler climates, garden supplies, and patio furniture packed away.
- Holidays- decorating and preparing for all of the holiday treats, meals, and festivities.
- Guests- arrive for a holiday party or to stay for awhile.
- New Items- from the after thanksgiving sale to all the wonderful holiday gifts.
Over the next couple of weeks. We are going to dig in and prepare our homes.
Today we are going to start with fall cleaning and maintenance to get our homes prepared for the cooler months ahead.
Maintenance and Cleaning- Keeping our things clean and maintained helps them last longer. Which in return makes for more money in our pockets.
Cold Weather Maintenance

As the leaves start to fall it is time to prepare our homes for the upcoming holidays. Starting now with our cleaning will help take away some of the pressure that many of us feel during the holidays. By the time the holidays arrive our homes will be clean and organized. Shop the dollar stores. You can find some great cleaning supplies at the dollar store. From cleaners to buckets to sponges and scrubbers. They carry rubber gloves to trash bags too. They have a large variety of supplies to get your cleaning done for less!
An additional way to save on cleaning supplies is to buy generic. Store brands or off brands can be found at many stores for less.
